Starting Salary $48,751

The Town of Lexington is accepting applications for the position of Events & Media Coordinator. Under limited direction, plans and conducts public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for the Town. Plans, coordinates, schedules events and handles reservations for the Town’s public facilities. Oversee social media pages and provide content for the website. Coordinates press conferences and drafts press releases. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or public relations plus three to five years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
