Job Duties:

*Assists in the development and implementation of communication strategies.

*Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging.

*Coordinates activities with contracted government relations firm.

*Coordinates videography and photo opportunities.

*Drafts and distributes press releases to media outlets; maintains relationships with media contacts and responds to inquiries.

*Coordinates and schedules interviews with company representatives, clients, partners and more.

*Monitors media coverage and compiles press clippings.

*Creates content for company website, social media platforms, and newsletters.

*Supports internal communication efforts, including employee newsletters and announcements.

*Creates content for annual impact report, presentations and more.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related fields required, plus 4 or more years of experience, preferred. 

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail and accuracy in all communications, proficiency in Microsoft Office social media platforms, familiarity with public relations practices and principles, ability to work independently and as part of a team, knowledge of AP style guidelines is a plus, and experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus. 

This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Bamberg, SC.
